Maybe I am not completely understanding the concept of RBL as it is a relatively new term to me. I realise the benefits of having student formulate and explore questions and topics that interest them. However, at the end of the day, they need to be able to excell in their exams where they have rigid questions set for them. I know in the current climate with the introduction of the MySchools website that now more than ever there is pressure on me as a teacher to ensure that test scores are high.
I need help in merging the idea of RBL and ensuring that students perform under exam conditions. Any suggestions?
